Things that shouldn't scare you:

1. a trip to the grocery store
2. taking your kid to the doctor
3. opening your electric bill

Unfortunately, in today's climate, any one of these can cause the kind of financial panic you don't need.

Too many families are working harder than ever while falling further behind. Rising costs — groceries, housing, childcare, healthcare, and utilities — are squeezing everyone who isn’t a billionaire or a massive corporation. While profits soar for the wealthiest few, everyday people are forced to make impossible choices between rent and medicine, gas and groceries. I believe our economy should be built to support working families, small businesses, and local communities — not just corporate shareholders.

Lowering Costs for Everyday People
We need bold action to bring down the cost of living. That means tackling price gouging, lowering prescription drug prices, investing in affordable housing, and expanding access to quality childcare. Families deserve breathing room in their budgets and the dignity of financial stability.

Good Jobs and Worker Power
Workers create wealth and deserve a fair share of it. I support raising wages, protecting the right to organize, and strengthening labor standards so jobs across manufacturing, healthcare, education, and service industries provide real security. When workers have power, communities thrive.

Investing in Local Economies
Small businesses, farmers, and entrepreneurs are the backbone of our district. I will prioritize investments in rural infrastructure, clean energy jobs, and workforce training that prepares people for the future while keeping opportunity rooted in our communities — not outsourced to the highest bidder.

Holding Corporations Accountable
Corporate consolidation and tax loopholes have hollowed out local economies. I support fair taxation, antitrust enforcement, and policies that stop corporations from exploiting workers and consumers to maximize profits.

An economy built on care means prioritizing people over profits — lowering costs, raising wages, and creating a future where everyone in District 3 has the chance not just to survive, but to thrive.
